However they’ve kicked things up (way up) with a well-curated cocktail menu including slushies!! The slushies have alcohol in them…in case that wasn’t clear. Plus they just launched their winter menu! (Stay tuned for a future post where we dive into all the delectable options)

Love the grilled cheese and the coffee AND that its walking distance from my house. I would give 1 giftcard to an Astorian friend who has never come, and use the other to treat my friends and I to brunch!

There are so many great things about The Queens Kickshaw: the cider, grilled cheese, great beers on tap. I would love to explore their cocktail menu more – I’ve just been once since they started doing that!

Definitely would eat a grilled cheese. I have only been once and I DIDN’T get a grilled cheese. Need to correct that error.

Love their forward thinking to combine food ingredients you wouldn’t normally pair… case in point: Asian Jewish Brunch.

Not sure when winners are announced but would love to attend that event with gift cards in hand!

I love their amazing coffee and focus on delicious ciders! Also their tomato soup is the bomb, although I’m hoping that they offer more vegan-friendly options in the future!

I’ve lived in Astoria for 2 1/2 years but I’ve never been to Queens Kickshaw and I’ve always wanted to go. The grilled cheese looks amazing :)

The Queens Kickshaw, and I think too often people ignore the fact that it’s VEGETARIAN!! As a vegetarian, I totally appreciate the fact that I can pick any option on the menu, but that I can bring omnivorous friends and family, and they love it too!

I love that the Queens Kickshaw stands out among all the restaurants in Astoria with their atmosphere and their unique drinks. Their grilled cheeses are the best comfort food in town. I love taking friends and family when they visit from out of town.
