Celebrate Three Astoria Anniversaries This Week!

It’s an exciting time to be a small business in Astoria! Lots of local favorites have recently celebrated anniversaries, including Astoria Bookshop (two years), Astoria Coffee (one year), and Judy & Punch (one year). It’s pretty awesome to watch new businesses of all kinds thriving in our community.

Three additional businesses are throwing anniversary events this week, and are all cool enough to invite the public to join in the festivities. We highly recommend all of them!

The Brass Owl Celebrates One-Year “Astoria-versary”

The Brass Owl, an adorable Ditmars boutique selling shoes, jewelry, and accessories, is celebrating their one year anniversary in style. Starting on Sunday, September 13 at 11am, they’ll be offering 10% off and double customer loyalty points on all purchases. They’ll also be serving mimosas and candy, with our neighborhood record shop HiFI Records joining in the fun and spinning tunes all day. To make the deals even sweeter, with all purchases of $10 or more, customers will receive a free gift. The question isn’t if we’ll be there, it’s whether or not we’ll ever leave!

Lockwood Turns Two

Kick off your Thursday night with WHA Best of Astoria winner Lockwood as they celebrate two years in the neighborhood. From 5pm-8pm on Thursday, September 10, the local favorite will be offering 20% off your entire purchase, festive drinks, goodie bags, and the exclusive first opportunity to snag fall fashions. Both Lockwood and Lockwood Style next door will be participating, so whether you need a knockout dress for the weekend or the perfect bag for fall, they’ve got you covered.

The Little Soap Shop Celebrates Eight Years In The Neighborhood

 

The Little Soap Shop is turning EIGHT, and is making your whole weekend smell a whole lot better. On Saturday, September 12 from 11am-6pm, and Sunday, September 13 from 11am-5pm, all products will be 20% off. We’re talking organic soap, soy candles, shower gel, lotion, body butter, sugar scrub, body oil, face products, and SO much more. There will also be free goodies for all customers, so stop by and see for yourself!
