By the end of August of this year, L.I.C will have 12 new docks in their hood. This will be the first time the popular blue bikes make an appearance in Queens. So what about Astoria? Citi Bike recently announced that by the end of 2017 they plan on doubling the number of bicycles in operation. This expansion does include Astoria as per the expansion plan below. So get ready Astorians, because, with a new bike design and improved software, Citi Bike will be riding its way over to a corner near you.
