This morning, Mackenzi snapped this photo—looks like 30th Ave is getting a new wine and liquor shop, Crescent Wines & Spirits. They’ve done a bit of remodeling and are hoping to open either later today or tomorrow, so this could be a good spot to pick up your wine for upcoming holiday meals. I gave the owner a call and he emphasized their dedication to smaller producers of both wine and spirits. Look for organic, natural, and biodynamic wines, especially those made by smaller producers. Craft spirits will also be sold there. Welcome to the neighborhood, Crescent Wines & Spirits! This corner is hopping! The new wine store joins recently opened Green Apple Delight smoothie/juice shop and cute/hipstery Caffino coffee bar. Reply Meg January 4th, 2015 My partner and I stopped in here this evening – this place is AMAZING. Small, carefully curated selection of wine; mostly small producers, and a lot of sustainable and organic wines. TONS of selection in the $10-$20 range. I am so excited this is right around the corner – see you never again, Grand Liquors.
