I stopped by the Brass Owl over the weekend after reading about it on Time Out New York’s site. I bought a cute and reasonably priced pair of snow boots. I’ve had a hard time finding ones I liked that didn’t cost a fortune until I stumbled into this shop. The sales clerk and owner were both super helpful and patient as I debated between two sizes. I also found some adorable initial earrings and will DEFINITELY be back for Christmas gifts for my friends (a gift card would definitely help out!). I’ve been recommending it to my Astoria friends. Great addition to the Astoria shopping community! :)

I absolutely love this store! A much needed addition to astoria to save everyone a commute into the city. Nicole does an amazing job at keeping wonderful & unique items in stock , not to mention staying connected with her customers!
