We Heart Astoria Food Talk – My Sweet Farewell

Well…I have some news Astoria.  After years of being a part of this community – getting to know its wonderful business owners and making tons of friends, I will be moving on to my next adventure in the Pacific Northwest.  A move to Portland, Oregon is in my near future (that’s right Portlandia fans, you can poke fun).  While this will be my last official Food Talk post, I will never stop being a part of the magic that is Astoria and always have it in my heart.  I heart all of you.  You are Astoria!

So much Astoria food press this week, as we were excited to see Tacuba and Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company featured in two very cool Thrillist pieces.

The We Heart Astoria team dined at The Sparrow this past weekend and were totally impressed with their eggy brunch dishes.  My personal fave was the prosciutto, brie omelette with caramelized onion jam. Wowza!  24-01 29th Street, Astoria. 718.606.2260
