We noticed this yesterday as the first post on The Astor Room’s new Instagram presence! They are revamping the restaurant and re-opening to the public on Friday, July 18.

As you can see, they’ve put together a new menu, hired a new chef, and outdoor seating is in their future. We are definitely curious to see what they come up with, and will report back after we check it out. Good luck, Astor Room! We can’t wait to see what you’ve done with it all!

Joe Valle and Patricia Gartland

Pat and I met 60 years ago at SCPC as it (Paramount Studios) used to be called. Then it grew to APC {Army Pictorial Center}. I was assigned to the 2nd Signal Platoon. Today was our 56th wedding anniversary. We are planning a visit to the museum street events Sept. 21, 2014.
