We’ve heard that the same team behind Sparrow Tavern and Mar’s have signed a lease at 27-20 23rd Avenue, the home of the former Black Rock Bar. No news yet on what kind of bar to expect from this dream team, but we do know they plan to do something different from Sparrow, which is only one avenue over. Remember our post about the old Stamatis space? Well we can now tell you the folks fromĀ Sweet Afton will be opening a new gastropub on the avenue later this fall!
