This is a team effort when it comes to filmmaking, and signup for the project is coming up! There will be a red carpet event, too. Here’s more info: The time has come again for the Sparrow Film Project! As many of you know the bar was set incredibly high last time, so we’re upping the ante with the 11th installment. To match the growth of interest in the project, we are modifying our rules. Teams will sign up at The Sparrow Tavern at 11pm. The entry fee is $20. If it’s too late for you, just send an insomniac representative with a $20 bill. Alternatively, teams will be able to sign up online between March 30th and April 5th at sparrowfilmproject.com and receive their assignment by email the Monday of April 7th. Teams will randomly draw their assignments based on a new theme for this installment, and have 3 weeks to produce a 3 minute film. Films must be submitted online or in person by 11:59pm on the night of Sunday April 27th. Because of the unprecedented success of the last project and Gala, we are anticipating more submissions than ever before. Due to time limitations during the screening portion of the Gala, we have decided that the judge’s nominations will have priority screening. All films will be shown at later screenings, and viewable online. We are looking forward to seeing your work. Red Carpet Gala details will be announced soon.
