Twitter Facebook Email Print That’s right, those rumors are TRUE! Astoria Bier & Cheese will be opening at 35-11 Ditmars Blvd. later this spring. Astoria Bier & Cheese will be opening in this former medical office later this spring. Keep reading for news about the new neighbor to the left. Look for their signature white subway tile decor and all of your favorite brews, noshes, and cheeses. Outdoor dining fans, fret not. The new Astoria Bier & Cheese will have a backyard slightly larger than their current Broadway space. The owner tells us he’s hoping to be open sometime early March. (Ditmars residents- you should see the signs go up next week!) Now, it’s time for some extra special bonus round gossip! Remember those BBQ rumors that have been circulating about the space next to Brooklyn Bagel? We hear it’s not BBQ but rather a butcher shop that will be supplying local meat & eggs. While we still don’t have a name, we do know that the owners of Astoria’s latest butcher raise the animals themselves on their Long Island farm and will be using this storefront as a way to sell their meat and eggs.
