Western Queens residents in our 12 Days of Giveaways. Raising Astoria is a community-oriented shop for new and expecting parents, offering a variety of children’s and parenting classes in their large classroom, as well as an array of toys, children’s books, and locally hand-crafted goods. The store also sells gently used children’s and maternity consignment clothing, and baby gear. Today’s giveaway winner will receive a 5-pack of classes to FunkiJam! A gift value of $100 dollars! Children ages 0-4 will love FunikiJam, which draws on eclectic musical traditions from around the world (from Africa to Asia, and back to the Retro USA). They’ll enjoy rocking out, singing, and dancing–all while learning about the structures and sounds of music.
