Twitter Facebook Email Print We’d like to give a very green welcome to our newest We Heart Astoria sponsor, luludi living frames. We are huge fans of this brand-new storefront that provides great gifts, natural art for your home, and community workshops for both children and adults. Paris, where living walls were created, was the source of inspiration for owner Liza Fiorentinos, who spent many years calling The City of Light home. Upon returning to the States, Liza envisioned a product where nature would meet art and design. After spending several years on Etsy, luludi needed a place and storefront to call home. Liza (born in New York and a current neighborhood resident) chose Astoria because, as a small business owner, she believes in the neighborhood’s growth and potential. Setting up shop on 24th Avenue also gives her the space to provide classes and workshops for her neighbors. As the weather turns colder, we suggest taking a trip over to luludi and take in the freshness that is so reminiscent of spring. (Don’t want to make the trip? No problem—they deliver!) Stay tuned to hear about my terrarium making experience when I attend a workshop later this month.
