Mount Sinai Queens broke ground last week on a 125,000 square foot addition that will add state-of-the art emergency room, more primary care doctors, testing facilities, and specialists- all under one roof. In a time when hospitals are closing all over the city, Astoria is lucky to have this massive expansion. During the ground breaking ceremony we learned this growth will add 100’s of new jobs and up to $165 million to the economy. Go, Astoria!
The $125 million dollar expansion began in August and is expected to be completed in 2016.

Are they building a parking lot with this. If not…how are we going to accommodate this. Maybe they should build a parking lot that accepts monthly spots for locals too!
