Really just an excuse to get together and celebrate spring, the event was a lot of fun, as it combined great music, food, drinks and the fabulous members of our community all under one roof. The venue was just spectacular and in addition to enjoying some of the best eats and drinks of the borough, attendees also had the pleasure of roaming around the museum and getting a look at MOMI’s latest exhibit, Spectacle. Here are some fun moments from the night that we captured. A big thanks to Yelp and MOMI for putting on a great partay. One of the most popular areas was the LUMI8 photo booth, which people had a lot of fun with. Tons of playful accessories such as hats, glasses, mustaches, etc were provided to spruce up the photos. Taverna Kyclades went simple yet elegant with these feta, olive and tomato skewers. Rudy’s Pastry Shop of Ridgewood went all out with their dark chocolate, caramel pretzel mini cupcakes. My ultimate favorite of the night were JoJu’s banh mis which came out piping hot and a little crunchy too. I had to go back for seconds – it wasn’t an option not to. Takesushi of Sunnyside absolutely killed it with their made-to-order hand rolls. It was the hottest ticket at the event aside from the photo booth. It was fun to catch up with our friend Renee from Single Girl Cookies. A most generous sampling of thin crust pizza from Rizzo’s – they had about 10 different varieties. It was so good! And here’s our friend, Jeff Orlick clearly lovin’ Rizzo’s! Thanks again for a fun night, Yelp!
