Over the summer and fall there were a series of visioning workshops held around Astoria/LIC. This Wednesday, December 8, is the final community visioning workshop. Please consider attending and sharing your viewpoint! Below is the announcement. It’s Your Waterfront: Help Make it Real! We’d like to invite you and members of your organization to join us this Wednesday, December 8th, at our final community visioning workshop. This summer, Green Shores NYC, along with the Trust for Public land asked you how you are using the waterfront now and which areas are not working. In October, we asked you to help design the future of the waterfront by sharing ideas to ensure a cleaner, greener, more accessible and user-friendly waterfront. Now, we want you to help us turn our waterfront wish list into a waterfront action list! On Wednesday, you’ll get to help choose, prioritize, and plan the next steps for these projects. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 8TH, 2010 6:30-9pm Variety Boys and Girls Club 21-12 30th Road in Astoria All are welcome! Light refreshments will be served. Feel free to RSVP on Facebook, too. Thank you!
