Today’s prize has to do with our favorite holiday activity besides buying and getting presents – and that’s eating! We heart, heart, heart Ornella, an intimate, Italian restaurant with personal service and homemade food that will not only warm your bones, but your soul as well. Sorry…to get mushy on ya.
Today’s prize is a Brunch for 2 at Ornella. Personally, I love brunching here with a friend or a group as well. The food goes beyond an ordinary brunch and everything is stepped up a notch. One thing in particular that I heart are their gargantuan (and oh-so-fluffy) pancakes, served with Nutella and fresh fruit. But other brunch dishes are equally as scrumptious and include a frittata with shrimp and artichokes, pressed paninis with smoky cured meats, various omelets and eggs in any style you want.
To enter, tell us about your favorite Italian homemade specialty – mine are gnocchi with Gorgonzola Dolce sauce (they’re just awesome at Ornella). Leave us your comment below, and you have until Monday morning to enter. A winner will be chosen at random, so good luck!

I’ve never been to Ornella although I have ogled their menu before and think any of their veal dishes would probably be favorites. I also love inventive raviolis.
Gotta love a good homemade lasagna – especially if it’s veggie with eggplant or zucchini.
