Throughout the summer, Green Shores – along with the Trust for Public Land – has been holding a series of listening sessions around Astoria/LIC regarding our waterfront. Tomorrow is the listening session for Astoria Park, which is of course an extremely valuable resource here in town. “Astoria Park” includes Pot Cove, Astoria Park, Ralph DeMarco Park, and the Northwest Corner of our waterfront. Now, what does Green Shores and the Trust for Public Land want to know? Think about the following questions and how you might answer them: Where are you going along the waterfront? What activities are you doing there? Which areas are working well? Which areas aren’t working well? This is an extremely important meeting to attend, and a real opportunity to voice your concerns about the Park, trash, graffiti, noise, and anything else you’re concerned about. Hope to see you there! Details: ASTORIA PARK LISTENING SESSION Wednesday, September 15, 2010 6:30-9pm Bohemian Hall 29-19 24th Avenue in Astoria Light refreshments will be served.
