The Winter Solstice, or shortest day of the year, marks a seasonal transition where we turn away from the bright sun to embrace the darkness of Winter. Honor this time of turning inwards by conjuring the light and warmth from within.
Through visualization, written reflection and the power of essential oils, align with the energies of the Solstice.
The Winter Solstice is the time at which the sun appears at noon at its lowest altitude above the horizon. In the Northern Hemisphere this is the Southern Solstice, the time at which the Sun is at its southernmost point in the sky, which usually occurs on December 21 to 22 each year.
