The Food Funny is a show where host Adrienne E. Cooper combines her passions for food and comedy singular show, where chefs try comedy for the first time, under the guidance of their comic mentors who go on to compete in a live 10-minute mystery ingredient cooking challenge for the chance to close out the show with a set of their own.
May is our host’s birthday month and right now she’s super grateful for the recent press about the show from Edible Queens and NY1. So, in addition to nicer weather, she’s hoping for a great turnout as a birthday treat at next month’s show. May’s lineup features a comic-to-watch, a comic making her return to stage after some major life changes and a local pit master.
The May 10th, 2017 show begins at 7:30pm, and tickets are $7.00. Featuring Chef-turned-Comic John Zervoulakos and Comics-turned-Chefs Mamoudou N’Diaye and Krista Barnett.
