2016 marks an important date for the arts in Queens that we hope you’ll join us in celebrating because it’s QCA’s 50th Birthday! On April 4, 1966, creative visionaries much like you came together to found Queens Council on the Arts. Join us on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 6:30pm to celebrate our 50th in style. Queens Council on the Arts takes on LIC Landing, the spectacular waterfront park, an event space set against the jaw-dropping backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. Music is curated by Will Calhoun of Living Colour and features the legendary Nona Hendryx.
