This workshop is for serious cross-fit athletes, climbers and acrobats looking to take their performance to the next level. The workshop will be 2-4pm on Saturday and from 2-4pm on sunday. 30 minutes of each day will cover strength and conditioning, mobility/flexiblity, injury prevention, and prehabilitation for each discipline. 75 minutes of each day will be hands on application of the concepts learned from the lecture into rock climbing and acrobatic partner balancing.
Strength and conditioning will include instruction on isometric progressions for planche, front lever, back lever, elbow levers, handstands, L-sits, and other basic strength progressions. The first day will focus on the easier elements, while the second day will move to the more difficult elements.
There will be a 15 minute Q&A at the end of each day.

Steven Low, author of Overcoming Gravity: A Systematic Approach to Gymnastics and Bodyweight Strength, is a former gymnast who has performed with and coached the exhibitional gymnastics troupe, Gymkana. Steven has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland College Park, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Baltimore. Steven is a Senior trainer for Dragon Door’s Progressive Calisthenics Certification (PCC). He has also spent thousands of hours independently researching the scientific foundations of health, fitness and nutrition and is able to provide many insights into practical care for injuries.
