Lyndsay Faye in conversation with Karina Carrasco on The Paragon Hotel

Join us on Thursday, January 24th at 7pm to celebrate the launch of Lyndsay Faye’s newest novel, The Paragon Hotel. In Lyndsay Faye’s intricate new book, a gutsy gun moll flees Prohibition-era Harlem for Oregon’s elegant Paragon Hotel, where the exclusively black residents and a chilling missing child crisis unlock new worlds she couldn’t have imagined. Lyndsay will be joined by Karina Carrasco, author of The Best Bad Things.

Multi-Edgar nominee Lyndsay Faye is the author of five critically acclaimed books, most recently Jane Steele. A true New Yorker in the sense that she was born elsewhere, Faye lives in New York City with her husband, Gabriel.

Katrina Carrasco holds an MFA in fiction from Portland State University, where she received the Tom and Phyllis Burnam Graduate Fiction Scholarship and the Tom Doulis Graduate Fiction Writing Award. Her work has appeared in Witness magazine, Post Road Magazine, Quaint Magazine, and other journals. The Best Bad Things is her first novel.
