Located at 12-14 31st Avenue in Astoria Queens, beginning at 3pm with a sponsored happy hour by Grey Goose at 6pm. Celebrating ALL Women, Fresco’s Cantina holds its first International Women’s Day.Established in May 20017 in a residential neighborhood in the western part of Astoria, its owner Brian M. Martinez has been successfully encouraging this community with family and LGBTQI friendly events. This four-time young small business owner is a Dominican Bronx native who was featured in Get Out Magazine last fall. As a gay Latino man, he is a conscience contributor to unifying the community by creating safe havens like Fresco’s Cantina. You may have heard of Fresco’s due to their Mexican fusion tacos or the only Drag Brunch in Queens, but this March you will be empowered by their untraditional celebration of Women. Fresco’s Cantina has confirmed Queens Borough President Melinda Katz as their honored guest along with other local female government officials, small business women owners, young entrepreneurs, bloggers, influencers and Trans advocates. This local business seeks to unite all women who are trail blazers in their industry. Not only will they be joined by Queen’s finest, but they implore Women from all boroughs to join this inclusive celebration of fierce female power. This eclectic happy hour will be sponsored by Grey Goose. Participants will include to name a few: Non-Corporate Girls who will be hosting, Curated Vibes Group, Next Stop Vegan, and Melanin on Wall Street. This cozy Mexican fusion Restaurant is proud to hold a space in the community for women of all works of life and anyone who identifies as a woman to celebrate, network and build strong partnerships.
