We’re back with the July Edition of Here’s the Thing… ! It’s the atypical show that forces comics to stop using those overused phrases in stand up and reprimands them on the spot. It’s the birthday edition! Because… it’s OUR birthday’s soon! And there’s gonna be CAKE!
Your hosts Sandy Chansamone and Luis Leon compile a list of phrases and words that are forbidden on stage like “like”, “umms”, and “here’s the thing…”. Each time a comic says any of those things, we honk a horn, the comic has to stop mid-joke and take a shot of beer or hard alcohol (depending on their preference). Audience participation is encouraged to keep the comics honest!
