Come celebrate the female spirit while also raising money for Planned Parenthood! Galentine’s Day 2019:Planned Parenthood Edition will take place on Feb. 16th at 7:30pm at The Local (41-04 31st Ave) in Astoria.
The showcase will include comedians, artists, musicians, poets, and playwrights. In addition to the show, we will also be holding a raffle. This raffle will include original artwork by local artists, handmade, vegan soaps (also made locally), a $50 gift card to Comfortland, a tarot card reading, two tickets to a show at the Dance Theater of Harlem, and more! All proceeds from the raffle will go to Planned Parenthood.
Our goal is to raise as much money as possible for Planned Parenthood, and we would be extremely grateful for any and all involvement from local businesses and artists. If you or anyone you know would be interested in donating, sponsoring, or being involved in any capacity, please let us know.
