Father’s Day Classic Car Show in Astoria Park

Astoria Park Alliance is excited to present the second annual Father’s Day Classic Car Show along Shore Boulevard this Father’s Day. Shore Blvd aka “The Strip” will be closed to traffic allowing the community to check out over 100 classic cars from around the region. Park-goers of all ages are encouraged to meet the car owners and learn about their vehicles.

Astoria Park, with its gorgeous views of Manhattan, has a long history of being a magnet for car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Walk the strip on any given day and you are likely to run into proud vehicle owners parked along the riverside showing off their rides and enjoying the view. The Father’s Day Classic Car Show aims to embrace the past, while looking to the future.

Live music, craft activities, food and gift vendors will also stretch along the strip, making for a unique and exciting Astoria experience. Classic car owners will have their vehicles professionally judged in a variety of categories, with trophy presentations on stage to conclude the event.

Join Astoria Park Alliance for this special day along one of the most iconic strips in New York City. While the event is free to the public there is a $20 entry fee for each vehicle. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP on Facebook. Feel free to contact Astoria Park Alliance by email at: getinvolved@astoriaparkalliance.org.

The car show is made possible with sponsorship support from Old Astoria Neighborhood Association.
