This Wednesday, June 12 at 6:30 p.m. is the 14th Annual Taste of LIC event, which pairs the best of Western Queens food and drink with a good cause: supporting The Chocolate Factory Theater. The Chocolate Factory Theater is an organization that helps bring local artists’ works to life through a residency package that provides salary, space, and expert support for projects from inception to presentation.

If you’ve ever walked by this event held in the Backlot at Kaufman Astoria Studios like I have, you’ll know it looks like a grand time. All the big players are here: from Beebe’s to big aLICe to Butcher Bar to Thirsty Koala. You can see the full list of over 50 participating vendors here.

The MC will be none other than our NYC Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer, and there will also be acts by performance artist Neil Greenberg.

Watch the promo below and purchase tickets here! There will also be a free shuttle to/from the LIC Ferry Landing if you prefer to travel by sea.
