Have plans for Saint Patrick’s Day? You don’t have to go all the way into Manhattan, you know. There are plenty of festivities planned right here in Astoria at some of your favorite local spots. So grab some friends, throw on that one green shirt you have that you wore last March, and get out there! Since the 17th is on a Sunday, you’ll have the whole weekend to whoop it up. Just be sure to drink lots of water before Monday morning.

Partake In The Pubcrawl

A couple of your favorite neighborhood pubs are hosting a pub crawl, sponsored by Dogfish Head, starting at 1 pm on Saturday, March 16. Participating spots include Passage, Judy & Punch, Albatross, Sissy McGinty’s, and more to be announced. The festivities kick off at Shillelagh Tavern, with food, drink specials, and a photobooth. Meet up at the rest of the bars for raffles and prizes. Get your tickets on Eventbrite. VIP tickets get you a swanky green jersey.
