Have you ever been overwhelmed by the disorganization of your closets? Do you avoid opening that one drawer? Have you ever started an organizing project, given up (cried a little), and just gone back to the way it’s always been? If you answered yes to any of the above, then you are just like me. Which is why I am SO happy that Astoria has Drea Montali a local Professional Organizer that can tackle any big project you’ve been avoiding, organize any space, and is just downright pleasant to work with.

The project that I actively avoided? The space that constantly overwhelmed me? The project that I attempted to take on myself but gave up on. My pantry closet. I sat down with Drea and asked her why you should higher a Professional Organizer, and here’s what she had to say!

“Sometimes we get too comfortable with how we use our space. Having a fresh set of eyes can shake things up; usually for the better. Clients would call me for a consultation and say things like “I doubt there is anything you can do with this space, it’s just so small.” After taking measurements and assessing their storage needs, I would design two to three options. The client would usually respond with “Wow, I didn’t even think that was possible.””

Good organization can save you time and money! The average person loses around 1 year of their life looking for things. Also when you buy the same hot sauce three different times because they are all buried in different areas of your refrigerator, that’s a waste! As a organizer I want to give my clients more time and more money!”

“A main reason people call up a P.O. is because clutter and disorganization is adding unwanted stress to everyday life. Clutter can signal to our brain that our work is never finished. That is a very stressful way to live and an organizer can help to relieve anxiety and help you relax more.”
