One of our favorite restaurants in Astoria is Kurry Qulture, a Michelin Guide-reviewed spot that makes some of the best Indian food around—not to mention excellent cocktails. They tend to change up their menu seasonally, and they have recently done so with a new Winter menu, and it looks full of flavorful, satisfying dishes. We also have details about a promotion they are offering in conjunction with UBER/Lyft.

“This winter, Kurry Qulture invites you to indulge in classic, soul-nurturing Indian dishes with a modern fusion and flair,” said owner Sonny Solomon. New on the Winter 2018 menu is food that is rooted in homestyle cooking traditions and celebrates fresh ingredients. Chef Binder, Executive Chef at Kurry Qulture remarks, “Kurry Qulture’s Winter 2018 menu features 12 appetizers, 25 entrees and several variations of naan, chutneys and rice side dishes. There is something for everyone, even if you’ve never tried Indian food before.”

Vegetarians and vegans are not left behind, and the new menu features Aloo Gobi—cauliflower, potatoes, turmeric); Phool Makhane Ki Subzi—lotus puffs, ricotta cheese, green peas; and Dal Makhani—black lentils, red kidney beans. You can see the full menu, here.

Kurry Qulture is also offering a ride hail app deal because of the 30th Avenue subway closure. Here’s more information.

“Due to the 30th Ave subway station overhaul, which will last for the next several months, Kurry Qulture will pay a customer’s Uber or Lyft ride when they dine with us. All they have to do is show us proof of their ride and we’ll credit their check up to $10. Some conditions apply: one credit of up to $10 can be applied per table, offer cannot be applied to separate guest checks, customer must show proof of ride in the smartphone app, not applicable for bar-only, delivery or takeout customers, Uber or Lyft driver’s tip will not be reimbursed.”

So there you have it—plenty of good things coming from Kurry Qulture. We hope you can stop by soon and taste their delicious food and drink.
