For Sale Craigslist revealed a number of local businesses for sale—Caffino (Crescent Street), Gizi Wine and Chocolate (Vernon Blvd), and Krave Cafe & Grill (Ditmars). We hope they each find a great buyer. (Perhaps that’s you?) Open or Opening Disco Paws. We reached out to Amanda Hogan, the owner of Disco Paws, a pet grooming/daycare shop on Ditmars, and she said, in short, “I hope it will add to Astoria’s hip yet charming neighborhood with its 70’s style flair! The other day it looked like they were doing some work on the front of speakeasy-esque The Last Word. The original storefront was revealed! I poked around and found a comment on Reddit, since outreach to the restaurant by other WHA staff has yielded a big ol’ goose egg. “My girlfriend talked with the owner and I guess it going to be a tropical restaurant.
