Our friends at The Queens Kickshaw have planned a series of fundraisers for the month of March—March 8 in particular is International Women’s Day, and all of the month of March is celebrated as Women’s History Month. Not to mention that the Women’s March this past January 21—celebrated around the world—kicked a whole resistance movement into gear.

All of these elements have contributed to the Kickshaw’s decision to honor women and their power in March. Two days a week—two at this point, but more may be planned—there will be live performances plus a chance to turn your beer/cider/wine drinking into cash for organizations like Planned Parenthood Action and ACLU Nationwide.

WEDNESDAYS: Art performance plus 1 tap line for which all sales go to non-profits
THURSDAYS: All-female vinyl playlist plus 25% of bar sales go to non-profits

Here are the local folks who will be donating product:

Back to the performance part—if you are an artist interested in participating, send clips/samples of your work to info@thequeenskickshaw.com

We can’t wait! See you there.
