RaRe Films_1Jan 29 – Fleshpot on 42nd Street (1973)
Writer/Director: Andy Milligan
No-budget Times Square sleaze auteur Andy Milligan’s accidental masterpiece of early 70s hustlers and deadbeats, from a man who knew it well. Forget 70s NYC nostalgia–Fleshpot is so real it hurts.

Proceeded by Stefan Nadelman’s Terminal Bar (2002), a short documentary about one of Times Square’s most notorious pre-Giuliani dive bars.

Chilling understated art-house horror from Brooklyn director JT Petty.

Psychedelic take on the dreams, hopes and fears of one small-town Japanese family.

The weirdest film Bill Murray’s ever done. A smash at Cannes, financed and then abandoned by Warner Brothers.
