Museum of the Moving Image is offering a cathartic way for individuals to express how they’re feeling about today’s political climate with their “He Will Not Divide Us” initiative. People are encouraged to stop by the exterior of the museum any time, any day in the next four years and claim: “He will not divide us” into a camera for as long as they like.  From the website:

“Commencing at 9am on January 20, 2017, the day of the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States, the public is invited to deliver the words “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” into a camera mounted on a wall outside the Museum of the Moving Image, New York, repeating the phrase as many times, and for as long as they wish.

Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously for four years, or the duration of the presidency. In this way, the mantra “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community.”

You can watch the livestream here.

Take care of yourselves today, folks!

This is an awesome idea. We must stand up in love and resistance to the forces of misogyny, racism and other oppressions used to win the election. (And Russia…)

Grow up already. He is our President. She is not and never had a chance. Ridiculous entitlements will stop. Special interest groups who should have been ignored but received catered treatment for the last 8 years will now know just how much they DO NOT mean anything, as they are dismissed. I for one am glad he is President. Not perfect but much better than the HAG.

Agreed. And it seems everywhere I turn (IRL/online), it’s cry-babies who actually don’t even know what exactly they’re “protesting”. It’s comical and sad at the same time.
