A little while back we told you about Made in Queens, a “a pop-up store featuring an array of locally made artisanal products, crafts, design goods, home accessories and food products,” brought to you by the fine folks at the Queens Economic Development Corporation. Well, the good news is they are open! Yes, they opened their doors today. And they are having a grand opening soiree on Wednesday, June 15, at 6:30pm. You can RSVP here.

So who can you find at MiQ? Well, there are a whole array of makers, like Worksman Cycles, Metrix Jewelry, Casa Maya Salsa, Chi-Cho Sauce, Bright Sun Naturals, and NadiraBag, just to name a few. And the Queens Tourism Council will provide materials on cultural, entertainment, and dining options in the borough.

So come on over and check out Made in Queens! Looks like a pretty interesting place.
