Vista Penthouse Ballroom

If you are looking for a room with a view, you can’t beat the one provided by Vista Penthouse Ballroom in LIC. If you have a really big group, no problem, they can accommodate up to 200 guests. With incredible views of the Manhattan skyline; they have menus for every occasion and pricing for any budget. Petals & Roots

If you want to do something really out of the ordinary bring your group to Petals and Roots. After 7:00 pm (on weekdays) this rich, green, and fully decked out floral space is available for rent. The space can accommodate 30 comfortably (mainly standing room only). They have a good sound system, refrigeration, and on site parking for two cars.

Tacuba

You may recall that we hosted our 2015 Best of Astoria at Tacuba. Margaritas, mariachis, this place can make your gathering…spicy!  You might find you like your roommates boyfriend/girlfriend more after having a pitcher (or 2) of Sangria.

Sanford’s

With its newly renovated space, now doubled in size, Sanford’s has plenty of room for large groups. Plus they now boast 300+ Single Malts & Bourbon, which they say is the largest Whiskey Bar in Queens. Sanford’s also makes an amazing brunch. Maybe you could mix it up; turn the typical after work team meeting into an exciting brunch.

Katch

Katch is a 2,000 square foot space that includes a 40 foot first class bar with 50 taps, a banquette space, high top tables, a transitional dining space, and over 70 HD TV’s. (whoah!) Sek’end Sun has tons of space inside and outside. They have big lounging tables in the front, smaller tables to put together for big groups in the back, and even a spacious back yard. We can speak from experience SingleCut is a great place to have a big party. Expanded seating and tables makes this a chill place to celebrate the season. Bring board games to play, pass out growlers to party goers, you could even get some live music to jam out with. This spot is off the beaten path so you might want treat your crew to an Uber pool.
