Whatever your booze needs may be, here are ten places to pick up the good stuff. We focused on including at least one spot for each major subway station, but if you have a favorite we missed, please share and we’ll update the list!

I have to add Crescent Wine and Spirits (30th Ave and Crescent) to this list as it’s an absolute gem of a wine shop. The owner, Freddie, personally curates this remarkable store and his knowledge and friendliness really makes it worth returning to time and time again. He’s tasted every wine that he stocks and he emphasizes small, family vineyards as well as organic and sustainable producers. What’s more, his prices are refreshingly fair. You will find inexpensive wines here that are better than wines two and three times as expensive at other neighborhood shops. If you’re of the mind to pay a little more one night, you will be absolutely blown away with your purchase. Even if it’s out of your way, I highly recommend paying Freddie a visit. It really is a great place with a fantastically curated selection. Think of it as the Astoria Bookshop of wine stores.

(I have no affiliation with this place other than being a big fan).
