Rentheads, brace yourselves.

The groundbreaking NYC-centric musical Rent will celebrate its 20th anniversary this September. (Yes, that’s 525,600 minutes times TWENTY!) To coincide with the big birthday, Rent will be returning to New York City for a special limited engagement at Long Island City’s own Secret Theatre.

The only bad news? Tickets sold out in less than 36 hours. According to a Secret Theatre rep, there’s no talk of an extension yet, but stay tuned to their Facebook page for updates.

Presented by the 5th Floor Theatre Company, performances will be held September 23-26 at 8pm, with matinee performances September 26 at 4pm and September 27 at 3pm. Tickets were previously available for purchase on Brown Paper Tickets.

The cast features Dan Rosenbaum as Roger, Daniel Clayton Smith as Mark, Bernard Holcomb as Collins, Mia Johnson as Joanne, Lindsay Lavin as Maureen, Nina Negron as Mimi, Andre Revels as Benny, and Anthony Wright as Angel.
