In case you need yet ANOTHER reason to enjoy some of New York City’s best restaurants, we’ve got one: on Sunday 3/29,  70 local restaurants will be participating in “Time Out For Hunger,” a partnership between Food Bank For New York City and Time Out New York. All eateries taking part in this fantastic day will be donating 10% of their profits to neighbors in need.

A few Astoria favorites are getting in on the action: Ovelia, De Mole Astoria, and Twist and Smash’d Sports.  For every dollar Food Bank For New York City raises, FIVE meals are provided for less fortunate New Yorkers. Sounds like a great reason to order an appetizer, entree, and dessert! A full list of all participating restaurants throughout the five boroughs can be found here.
