Thanksgiving is almost upon us! Here’s what’s what in the neighborhood for this day of thanks and eating. We recommend you call any of the places you are considering first to check availability and confirm timing.

Astor Bake Shop has a whole Thanksgiving dessert menu, including Chocolate Pecan Tart, Bourbon Sweet Potato Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and more. Pre-order is required. 12-23 Astoria Blvd, Astoria, (718) 606-8439

Bear’s Thanksgiving dinner has three seatings—3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Highlights include Butternut Squash Bisque, turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. $50 and bottle of wine for the table is included. Cash only; reservations required. 12-14 31st Ave, Astoria, (917) 396-4939

Bourbon and Vine is offering some drink specials for Thanksgiving—this whole week is Friends and Family Week and goes until Friday, November 28. They’re offering $6 Old Fashioneds and $6 wine by the glass. Brick Cafe is throwing its annual Thanksgiving dinner for $35/pp, including classics like butternut squash soup, turkey, and pie, as well as some more unusual T-day options like pumpkin gnocchi, fried calamari, and tiramisu. 30-95 33rd St, Astoria, (718) 267-2735

Cavo is doing their annual Thanksgiving dinner, featuring such dishes as roasted butternut squash soup, roasted free-range turkey breast, apple rosemary stuffing, and pumpkin cheesecake. Pricing is $32.95. They recommend you RSVP soon! 42-18 31st Avenue, Astoria, (718) 721-1001

John Brown Smokehouse is smoking turkeys, making sides, foie gras gravy and pie. Today is the LAST DAY to order food, so give them a call. 10-43 44th Dr, Long Island City, (347) 617-1120

Koliba, one of our favorite Czech/Slovak restaurants in town, is also hosting a Thanksgiving dinner. They’ll offer traditional American Thanksgiving food, including roast turkey with stuffing, giblet gravy, yams, vegetables and… homefries. More traditional Czech/Slovak is also on the menu, such as chicken schnitzel and sauerbraten with dumplings. Dinner ranges from $15.75-$24.75. 31-11 23rd Ave, Astoria, (718) 626-0430

Mojave has put together a 3-course Thanksgiving dinner for $39.95. Enjoy classic flavors with a twist, including Turkey Empanaditas, pumpkin soup, turkey meatballs, and pecan pie. Sunswick is offering a complete Turkey dinner starting at 4 p.m. for only $24. Enjoy yums like butternut squash soup, fried turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potato cheese cake. 35-02 35th Street, Astoria, (718) 752-0620

Thirsty Koala is offering Thanksgiving traditions like turkey, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes, but also less common treats like fried calamari and barramundi amandine. Dinner is $25/head and goes from 3:30 to 11 p.m. (brunch will also be served that day starting at 11 a.m.). 35-12 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria, (718) 626-5430

Vesta is offering a whole bunch of interesting things on their Thanksgiving menu, but they do have one entry that is pretty traditional—Roasted Turkey Breast, cultured butter, mashed potato, corn bread stuffing and cranberry glaze, all for $23. Dinner is served from 1 to 8:30 p.m. 21-20 30th Avenue, Astoria, (718) 545-5550

The Z Hotel is serving Thanksgiving dinner from 2 to 8 p.m. at $69.95 each. Dishes include cold antipasto, lasagne, turkey, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, among others. Includes a champagne toast. 11-01 43rd Ave, Long Island City, (212) 319-7000
