frittering-away-drinks-astoria-flea-queensThe Astoria Flea went off with a bang last weekend and we were there to check it out – including a detailed play-by-play of all the tasty eats.  Read about Meg and Emily’s food adventures, including sips and eats from Tea ‘n Milk, Ice and Vice, Frittering Away, Khai Man Gai and more.  Check them out again this weekend at the Kaufman Astoria lot.

dutch-kills-centraal-burgerSpeaking of local watering holes, I recently had the pleasure of visiting the infamous Dutch Kills Centraal and totally dug their chilled out vibe and a tasty burger.  The shoestring fries were especially delish! 38-40 29th Street, LIC. 718.606.8651

coffee and cake collageThe New York Times came out with a fabulous interactive map of 101 Places to find great coffee, and Astoria and LIC are represented.  Just type in your location in the empty field and it’ll feed you some delicious options.  Smell, sip and enjoy…
queens-comfort-soft-shell-crabNothing says springtime like a softshell crab special sandwich at Queens Comfort.  Reminding me of the beach and warm summer days, we welcome other seasonal treats in the future.  40-09 30th Avenue, Astoria. 718.728.2350
