With lots of fun food news going on both in Astoria and LIC, we’re getting hungry.  How will you satiate your curiosity?

tonkotsu-ramen-mu-ramen-lic-queensThe wildly popular LIC pop-up, Mu Ramen has been hit with a fantastic Times review, which almost immediately resulted in a cancellation of all of their reservations.  The glory was simply too much and the talented folks of Mu Ramen want to prepare before they open back up in July.  The anticipation will build for sure, but it’ll be worth it!

cafe-henri-licIn more LIC news, we’re happy to see that after an unfortunate closing of Cafe Henri in Manhattan, the LIC locale remains strong and as vibrant as ever.  We heart this quaint French cafe and hope you check it out soon and give them some props.  10-10 50th Avenue, LIC. 718.383.9315

We couldn’t help but salivate at BORO’s impromptu visit to the new organic pizzeria on 30th Avenue called Trakia.  Its origins are Greek, but the pizza speaks for itself, which reminds me of the legendary pizza amazingness at my beloved (and long gone) Pinocchio.  38-14 30th Avenue, Astoria.
