Wowza…mother nature  is surely kicking some butt lately with the polar vortex – but as true New Yorkers, we’ve been doing our best to deal.  I’m personally glad to see the worst is over, and now we can go back outside and enjoy the neighborhood again.  But in the spirit of our recent arctic forecast, we thought to theme this week’s Food Talk about warm, comforting foods.  Curl up and enjoy all the goodness!

Il Bambino Soup

Soup and Pesto Panini

I can never resist Il Bambino’s delicious homemade soups during crazy cold times.  They differ each day, but I’ve never had a dud – especially when it comes to their root veggie soups.  The crunchy panini with homemade pesto, which comes with each soup is totally irresistible.  34-08 31st Avenue, Astoria.  718.626.0087
