Astoria Arrivals Gossip: Tamashii Ramen, Enthaice Thai, and The Sandwich Bar

enThaice to open in old Aroma 31 space?

We’ve heard from a few sources that a Thai restaurant is taking over the old Aroma 31 space and last week at the CB1 meeting an “enThaice” applied for a liquor license in that same spot. Could these guys be opening an Astoria outpost? More as we have it.

Looks like their last creation, Just Burgers, didn’t work out too well.

Tamashii Ramen on Broadway is open!

We’ve been reporting quite a bit about ramen these days; Tamashii Ramen on Broadway and Okidoki Ramen on 30th. Well, it looks like Tamashii Ramen is actually open! Our friend Stacey Ornstein from Allergic to Salad tried it and noted there are a few kinks that needed to be worked out. Anyone else been? (Also: Yikes! Those Yelp reviews.)
