Since the demise of Papa’s Empanadas on Steinway, Astoria cheap eats just haven’t been the same for me. I love those little filled pastry pies- cheap,tasty, and oh the variety!
Looks like I’m about to have another local place to obsess over. While their website is sadly lacking in information, I’ll gladly wait patiently for this new spot to open up!

Excellent empanadas, very diferent from Mama Empanada on 9 ave. Great selection and ambience, the service is great an friendly and have delivery! Fantastic.
this guy is the man- he sold empanadas on foot on the beach to us lifeguards and other beach goers…all of his empanadas are delicious!
This place SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! They made us wait for over an hour for our food and then we got the wrong food. When we called to complain we got the most rudest and unprofessional man on the phone. NEVER EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!
