This Saturday hails the coming of Astoria Music Now, a day-long celebration of local rock/pop music talent taking place right in Astoria Park, sponsored by Astoria Music & Arts.   This will be the third year that Astoria Music Now has graced our neighborhood with hedonistic aural pleasures.  There will be three stages featuring a total of 29 bands, and the event goes from 11am to 9pm.  And believe it or now, the entire event is free!

The event is sponsored by a number of great eateries, including Sparrow, Bohemian Beer Garden, and Vesta, so maybe considering dropping by and having a little something there to support their support of this great local music event.

Additionally – most of us know that trash cans are really stressed in Astoria Park, so please consider packing out what you pack in.  It will make the hanging out time in Astoria Park much more enjoyable for your fellow Astorians!
